| berry you'll be sweet, mrs berry will love it also, forgot to mention you know sabine schmitt from topgear who does all ring things with clarkson in that van..... i found her restaurant n met your mum! we should all go out one night to that, its well nice.
aslong as astra's reliable with any handling ability you will love it. you dont even need a majorly fast car, theres so many bends. i reckon sort of around 100bhp in a small car and say 150bhp in a large car is plenty just make sure the suspension is sorted and brakes are decent.
i know the first rule of modding for more power is first do the brakes but i just managed to sort everything on mine as and when and the brakes got left but they actually never faded and stopped the car find on standard set up. (bmw brakes are good anyway)
what really smelt fruity was the clutch.lol but i put a new one in before i went.
i just cant stress enough make sure your cars running good and reliable before you go, i mean check everything, big test drive you really dont want your pads/discs/tyres/clutch running out on the way as you dont want your engine leaking fluids etc.
i trust you all and there is plenty off time! i had to put loads of late nighters in after i blew the old lump cos it put me behind schedule but glad i happened here and not there!!!! check out my build thread pics for how car stands now, more to come for this old girl yet!! | |

| I was at the meet last Sunday with big cal in the red scooby im totally up for a nurburg run but not in the scooby I will hopefully be takin the nova fingers crossed | |

| you too are brave men. i wouldn't dare pilot a vauxhall with that much power out of my drive!!!!
its fair too say though you will surprise alot off people/cars there with your motors!!!
i like how your both running standard vauxhaull wheels so from a distance yours could both be 1.6 105bhp machines, find a straight, find 911 and have a play am saying!!!
glad to have you on board with this.
early days but i have most of details i need now to make it cheap as poss.
just need nurburgring to release official dates and then i can go from there.
this will be a trip of a lifetime i reckon, possibly 15 cars going so far!!! | |
