being 18 and being asked to pay £6,000 for a 1 Litre ... are you out of your mind !?!?!?!

1. What kind of 18 year old has £6,000 ? Im lucky to have £6 at times ... lol

2. The car is worth £500 .. im not going to write it off 12 bloody times in a year .....

3. I'ts a 1 litre .... its not going to go anywhere fast ? yet Insurance wants £1,300 for my bike which can do 180 MPH
and 0-60 in 3.2 ? ..... Please tell me the logic in that ???!!!!

I'm payin £650 on my 1.9tDI 130bhp, 5yrs ncb - What I suggest is you guys all sign up to a forum/club that gets a discount from Sky Insurance or similar, for instance:

I'm a member of UKPassats and because of that I am entitled to a discount from Sky Insurance, last year I was payin £1100 with co-op, this year my cheapest price from other insurers was £850, my renewal was about £950 but Sky Insurance are doin it for £650, thats fully comp and with all mods declared AND PROTECTED no claims bonus.

I suggest u all give them a call and see what they can do for u but like I said, sign up to UKP or similar first and tell them your username.

I may even send them a quick mail to see if we can get them involved in the site/get our own club discount.
