PostSubject: Homemade h pattern gearbox to sequential paddle shifter    Tue Dec 04, 2012 8:01 pm

Hello i want to saw you what i have done until now to my car. Its not finished yet but is going well.
This is something i have done to help me write the programm at the plc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_P0LiWrZx3E
and this is now on my car
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6bCeb1H-Zw
In this video is the slowest speed that can go it goes from 2 to 3 in 0.7-0.8 seconds. Now i have working my car with this system for almost 2 months at speed 0.4 from 2 to 3 gear. I have try it and it can go at 0.17 sec from 2 to 3 gear but my car is fiat six gear and as you now this gearboxes isnt so good. The program i have write has safetys for everything and sensors at everything. So if everything goes wrong at milliseconds push the clutch and goes at neutral. It has output for launch control for the upshifting, output to push the throttle at downshifting. analog output for controlling boost control at every gear diferent presure, output for nitrous, input for rpm signal, input for automated gearchanges at the rpm that i want, and many other things.
I hope you like it.

Yes it is very effective because all the gearchanges are faster than the hand can go and absolutelly acurate. For me was not expensive because all most the things is used from the factory that i am working. I didnt understand "what i am runing on the fiat". sorry

thank you all for the good words you said. I am very glad that you like it. The good thing in all this is that i design it like that for the reason that when i push off button the car is again stock like before so i can say that i have my stock gear stick Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

if you have one wideband and the knock sensor is not so dificult you will make it to work with safety and you go on a dyno and tune it with load.

I hope you like it.
