What's the best make?

Hey guys.
Starting to modify the corsa now, starting small with the handling and looking to buy some coilovers, just wondering if anyone knows a good make to get for Corsa C or if anyone would know where to source some from?

Depends on your budget, you could spend 3 grand on gaz coileys, or 100 on eBay specials, totaly up to you is go for fk coilovers good value for money, and good quality, but what's wrong with a good set of shocks and springs, ok the ride height is fixed but its a lot more comfy

Fair enough, an thinking about it, possibly having a fixed hight maybe better as I have 17" alloys on it, do there wouldn't be much room to play with, cheers pal

eBay spesh alloys seize up after cold winters there not proply protected vmaxx are okay budget coilies but still looking around 450 mark

I used to av a Corsa c so got few bits knocking around if ya interested pal

ive been talking to mexican sbout this, and bouncing ideas,
what engine is in the corsa?
best way to get performance from a car is to get the schassi right first, big brakes, good suspension, polly bushes etc,
get the best you can out of it, and follow basic maths,

lower centre of gravity, less body roll,
small wheels, faster aceleration, big wheels= slowwer acceleration, but a higher top end,

many many possabilities, if you speek to rob on here, he runs the silver civic with the yellow towing eye, well before that he was running a low powwered corsa c, but with a few tweeks it was actually a right little bugger to get past, it was anoying good, despite what abuse it got, i was allways impressed with how well it went, even if rob seems to drive without any limmit at all (im not kidding, hes nuts, lol)

any ways, back on subjet

shocks and springs, well id look at the forums andsee what has beenproven as working,
v maxx do ok springs, pritty good quality for the money,
bielstien shocks are good quality for the money,
you can probably get a good setup from ebay for aound 150 quid
ill have a look see what deals are around atm,

As a few pictures I've seen have been cars drop to the floor almost with huge alloys, so was just wondering if anyone would know?

A lot ov cars that are slammed on huge rims aren't static ie coilovers or springs there offer air ride or hydraulic so they are dropped for show and raised to drive on
