polybush engine mounts Empty
PostSubject: polybush engine mounts   polybush engine mounts EmptyTue Feb 05, 2013 3:28 am

Just a heads up really
There is the old trick of packing the engine mounts with tigerseal or silkaflex

I was a little sceptical at first when i herd this but after a while of it eating at my mind and hearing it from several places,
Ive done it now to the justy diff mounts and one rear engine mount and what a massive difference, the whole back end is much stiffer
At one tube around ,£10 its far much cheaper and easier than poly bush mounts to fit,
Its best to remove the mount and fill it up then leave it to set but i did mine on the car and left it overnight with no problems
I would say one tube is adequate to do a set of engine mounts

Hope it helps people
