| The day began intending to strip a drum, fix a brake cylinder and ended in this Dropping all the exhaust Releasing all the handbrake cables Taking all brake pipes off Dropping propshaft Removing subframe Removing fuel tank One rear subframe, (diff, shafts, drums ect) dropped and belly fuel tank removed New subrames being fitted and no brake fluid leaks so far!! It looks so much better without the tank underneath too Although i do need to modify one bolt for the bottom arm as its spinning at the moment Hopefully that should solve a few problems | |

| your not wrong there mexican, red tops are multi point injection, however, running independant bike carbs will ive simular power gains to that of independant throtel bodies, but at a much smaller cost, plus this will remove any need for a mega expansive ecu, or at least the head ache of trying to join the wiring from and early 90's vauxhall engine to that of a japanes subaru car....... plus it will allso create some space (which this little beasty is desprate for) in the engine bay, hope that makes sense | |

| You might get similar top end, but usually the mid range and bottom end suffers vs throttle bodies, plus the general driveability and economy is worse.

| i completley agree but this thing isnt being built as a daily....... might loose some bottom end torque but i know what tanks like, it wont be driven lghtley, usually screaming its tits of hi in the rev range ha ha, any ways, its complete trial and error, there is no recorded build of this type ever being completed, so its a bit of a learning curve | |

| it's the midrange when you change gear you generally notice it. I'd just bang a decent inlet manifold on it and keep the injection gear. And buy some welding gas | |

| Slight change of direction, after alot of thought i have decided to turbo the standard 1.3 8v, to see what happens and its a lot easier and quicker to do than the redtop, Turbo airbox build All welded up with nice blueing, no holes fingers crossed Studs are in ready to hold boost i hope All painted up!!! Still allot to do but im hoping it will be done for pod, Still need to sort turbo, oil feeds etc etc Could be a big flop but hey ho the justy always lives on | |
